NEW: GAO Report on Sexual Violence Data

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report on Sexual Violence Data: Actions Needed to Improve Clarity and Address Differences Across Federal Data Collection Efforts. The GAO looked at four federal agencies- the Depts of; Defense, Education, Health and Human Services (HHS) and Justice (DOJ).  The data collected by these agencies differs in populations, terminology (definitions) and transparency. The recommendations included are for each of the agencies the report looked at.   Read the entire report.
