The CDC and AAP announced the release of a free on line training called HEADS UP to Healthcare Providers.  Upon completion of the training healthcare providers can earn 2.0 continuing education credits through AAP.  The new training seeks to equip healthcare providers with practical strategies to care for young patients with a mild traumatic brain injury.  The course emphasized five key practice-changing recommendations outlined in the CDC Pediatric mTBI Guideline. In addition to the training, there are educational tools for download and handouts for patients and their families.
