SAFE National Protocols

The National Protocol for Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations of Adults and Adolescents and the National Protocol for Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations - Pediatric were created to address the coordinated community response to sexual assault.  However, they are specifically written to be useful for communities developing a victim sensitive response to sexual assault.  In the Protocols, roles of responders are addressed, along with guidelines for suggested practice.
