Peer Review

Presented by Sue Rotolo, PhD, RN, SANE-A, SANE-P, CFN and Lisa Gorham, BSN, RN, SANE-A, SANE-P, CFN. The National Protocol for Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations encourages the use of peer review to assure high quality responses from healthcare professionals.  If you are starting a peer review process in your program and looking for assistance, or have an existing program in place and would like to have some alternative methods to explore, this is for you!   Goals were to describe the Peer Review Process, identify reasons that peer review should take place, and identify resources in particular practice arenas that can validate the peer review process.
