Civil Trials and Hearings: Testimony by the Clinician

Created by Patti Powers, Presented by Jon Kurland

Description: Clinicians are most often not provided with the necessary education to prepare them for testimony in civil proceedings. Therefore, they may lack the knowledge and level of comfort to be able to be adequately prepared to provide the best testimony in these proceedings. This presentation will provide clinicians with information so they will feel confident in their understanding of the process of civil proceedings. They should be knowledgeable on how to prepare for their role as a clinician providing testimony in these proceedings.
