To prioritize our focus at IAFN’s Annual Conference, some staff will be onsite in Denver and unavailable through Aug. 30. There will be a slower response to all emails and requests submitted through Aug. 30. Following the annual conference, IAFN will close from Monday, Sept. 2 through Friday, Sept. 6 to embrace collective care and rest. IAFN staff will respond to emails upon returning to office on Sept. 9.
The following video depicts a brief, simulated patient encounter. These videos are intended to demonstrate clinical skills highlighting how to interact with patients using a trauma-informed approach. Each video prioritizes addressing the healthcare needs of the patient. The video does not show the medical forensic exam in its entirety but rather highlights portions of the exam.
